Announced at a Stage Greeting event in Tokyo on Sunday, Yo-kai Watch staff mentioned the franchise would continue creating films as the next and 4th movie of the series will premiere in Winter 2017.
Yo-kai Watch's 3rd movie, Eiga Yo-kai Watch: Sora Tobu Kujira to Double no Sekai no Daibōken da Nyan! (Yo-kai Watch The Movie: The Flying Whale and the Grand Adventure of the Double Worlds, Meow!) comes out on the 17th of this month. I noticed the third movie actually combines live-action and animation, very interesting. Trailer here.
The name and details on the 4th movie set for next year have yet to be announced.
