Our acclaimed Final Fantasy XIV Online community has announced an update to one of its many weekly community events where players gather to take on special goals or complete tasks together in an organized and hosted setting every day. With the latest content update dropping last week, Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker - The Dark Throne, there's a handful of new bosses and challenges for our guild, allies, and players across the globe to take on together.
This time its our Monstrous Mondays event that groups at our in-game estate lawn to build parties that take on some pretty "monstrous" fights. Big ones, like fighting Final Fantasy IV's main antagonist, "Golbez" and a special difficulty of his FFXIV story boss fight, known as "Extreme" difficulty. Another new one is Final Fantasy VI's "Zurvan", who's returned as a special difficulty known as "Unreal".
Though these fights are tough as nails, our community is home to many seasoned and experienced players who're patient and happy to take those new to the content through "learning parties". That's what Monstrous Mondays is all about, and after enough people become familiar with the mechanics of the fights, we typically begin to see many clears each week.
Clearing Zurvan for example, will help our members earn a weekly reward, where clearing Golbez's fight will assist in earning powerful weapons for their jobs.
