Analysis & Status of Azure Infinitum
I reviewed Azure’s overall activity across Discord, our sites, and the games we play, focusing on our FFXIV core and active scenes like Destiny 2 and SWTOR. Tracking metrics, such as Lodestone rankings and FC credit trends, helps me monitor Azure’s health and guide its operations.
Azure remains healthy, though the pre-patch lull and holiday season have naturally reduced chat activity, log-ins, and some event turnout. These dips are normal, and with Patch 7.4 arriving December 16th, we can expect the usual surge of returning members and increased in-game activity.
Azure Infinitum Rankings
In FFXIV, we ranked 2nd Monthly and 1st Weekly on Midgardsormr using our methods, which exclude “boosted” FCs. FC credit rankings come mostly from daily Grand Company turn-ins, and some low-population FCs artificially inflate their numbers through credit spam, ninja-invites, or alt activity. I track known boosters to keep Azure’s activity assessments accurate.
Since top FCs often sit close in credit totals, placing anywhere in the top five legitimately is strong, especially because credits also come from normal gameplay like leveling, clears, and crafting.
Wings
Our Wings, Azure’s smaller but growing guilds in other games, show a mix of stable growth and casual activity. Some, like the Azure Wardens in Destiny 2, recently spiked with the Renegades expansion. FFXIV remains our core focus, with steady plans for advancement, while Wing activity is moderate and guided by Wing Commanders, Pathfinders, or kept semi-dormant as I prepare them for future development.

Online Content
We’re planning to increase our online content output, including new Azure Infinitum Podcast episodes and Azure Event Videos. Recent experiments with social media Reels have gone well, so I’ll be ramping up content creation moving forward.
FFXIV Server Transfers Upcoming Chance 12/16
For anyone looking to join our FC from another server, FFXIV’s next round of server transfers may open on December 16th. These windows can be short, so plan and prepare to transfer as soon as possible.
Azure Council About Page Update
Our Azure Council About Page has recently been updated with new Council Profiles from members promoted just earlier this year. This is a good way to get to know our leadership team here at Azure Infinitum.
Wing Retirements
Some Azure Wings are retired or put on hiatus when their games die out or no longer justify the time and management required. In November, we officially retired our Throne and Liberty and PSO2: New Genesis Wings.
Throne and Liberty struggled from the start, buggy, poorly supported, heavily PVP-focused, RNG-heavy, pay-to-win, and backed by Amazon Games Studios during a period of layoffs and cancelled projects. Despite its visuals, it wasn’t sustainable for us.
PSO2:NGS, while loved by some, became a microtransaction-heavy content desert. Azure supported it from launch in 2021, but the game saw minimal updates, bugs, little group content, and a very short story. When the roadmap shifted toward more cash-shop focus and server instability became constant, it was clear it was time to step away.
Azure Grand Duel Tournament XXIX
Our next FFXIV PVP Tournament takes place on December 21st, at 7p ET/4p PT!
This is our 1v1 bracketed tournament taking place at The Wolve's Den Pier, all are welcome to enter or come watch the duels! There is a big starting prize pot of 5 million gil for our Tournament Victor, and a title shot opportunity to face our current Champion, Vidario "Superstario" Sanarmore! Infinitum Champions become immortalized at our Champion's page here and get a special title rank that goes along with their rank in the FC. Rules and more will be posted and announced soon.
If you're interested or new to PVP in FFXIV, our event "Super Azure Slayer Sundays" (taking place at 6p ET/3p PT every 2nd and 4th Sunday) is a great opportunity to learn the PVP game modes and systems, and possibly be coached by our Champ himself!

Our annual “Picture Day” will be held in FFXIV during our 11th Anniversary Azure Starlight Day Weekend on December 20–21. Events start at 6p ET / 3p PT both days and run into the evening. Picture Day is our big yearly gathering to capture a group screenshot and commemorate our 2025 roster.
Azure Anniversary Starlight Weekend
This year’s event was designed to address the usual November pre-patch lull. With Patch 7.4 launching right before our traditional anniversary weekend, we combined it with Azure Starlight Day to create a special 11th Anniversary celebration.
Events will be spread across December 20 and 21, featuring favorites like Parades, D.A.R.T.S., Glamour Contests, Dungeon and Chocobo Races, Santa-Hunt, the Azure Giving Circle, and more.
Azure S.T.A.R.S. Program & Recruitment
Azure’s S.T.A.R.S. (Special Tactics and Recruitment Squad) has returned via Discord roles and as part of the A.S.S.I.S.T. initiative, creating an official recruiter team for all guilds and communities. Scouts and higher can join to help develop recruitment schedules, methods, and operations to grow Azure Infinitum.
Azure Day Website
Plans are in R&D to create an Azure Day website to showcase events, program guides, and more, supporting both the community and our Wings across games. While it won’t be ready immediately, I aim to launch it in Q1 2026, taking the time needed to make it truly worthwhile.
Azure and FFXIV Patch 7.4
- Monstrous Mondays: "Hell on Rails" EX6 Learning Parties begin 12/22.
- Azure Arcadion Tuesdays: Returns 12/16 for Day One, Week One clears; replaces weekly Windward Wilds farm with Heavyweight Match 1-4 clears (Primetime & Late Night).
- Wondrous Wednesday Nights, Treasure Thursdays, Friday Night Treasure Fights: Increased and/or new rewards.
- Crescent Crusade: Remains on hiatus until North Horn release (Spring/Early Summer 2026).
- Savage Saturdays: Omega & Eden unsynced clears for mounts on 1st & 3rd Saturdays; potential Pandaemonium Savage test runs post-Patch 7.4.
- Azure Fate Farmers: Returns 12/27 for bi-weekly Gemstone & Fate Rank farms on 2nd & 4th Saturdays.
- Mega Mount-A-Thon: Bi-weekly Endwalker unsynced EX trial farms on 1st & 3rd Saturdays; trial selection via Discord polls.
- Merchant's Tale Variant Dungeon: No official event planned; members encouraged to form groups via LFG channel.
- Azure Dungeon Delvers: Pilgrim’s Traverse: Bi-weekly cycle continues; hosted 1st & 3rd Wednesdays; Wondrous Wednesday Nights continue 2nd & 4th Wednesdays.
- PVP Season: Begins 12/16; Series Pass completion encouraged; Super Azure Slayer Sunday events every 2nd & 4th Sunday with 1 hour Frontlines (new map in Patch 7.4) + 1 hour Crystalline Conflict.
The Road Ahead
2026 Yearly and Monthly Roadmaps
Starting January, I’ll post monthly Roadmap graphics with symbols and color-coded calendars for easy reference and downloads. A 2026 Year Roadmap will also highlight key dates, helping the community plan ahead and see that Azure is an active, well-led community.
FFXIV Resource Project
We have several ongoing projects to build FC resources, generating gil to better support the community. Goals are set throughout the year, culminating with FFXIV’s 8.0 expansion, bringing future gear sets, raid food, bigger prizes, raffles, and more.
Advancement As A Gaming Community
Since merging with Run Around:Network to form Azure-Net, Azure has grown into a unified community spanning multiple games while keeping our Free Company as the core. Our goal is to provide consistent leadership and organization across all Wings, letting members enjoy different games while staying connected. Azure-Net also promotes our broader interests in anime, games, movies, music, Japanese culture, and more.
Members now recognize our multi-game guilds, universal rank and rules system, and shared Discord channels. While we began as 100% FFXIV, Azure is now a growing, interconnected network with each community shining in its own way.
In 2026, this expansion and focus will accelerate with new plans and initiatives.
New Infinitum Reserve Corps and Infinitum Alliance Features
A new Cross World Linkshell called the Infinitum Reserve Corps, has been created for those looking to join our community as "Community Members" or for those who may be interested in server transferring to join our Free Company. Those with CWLS membership and those who join us in Discord are considered Community Member rank- our most basic member rank, those of which are welcome to join us in events.
Our oldest Linkshell, Infinitum Alliance, which serves to build relations with friendly Free Companies will be receiving an overhaul in 2026. Phase 0 for the Alliance LS will begin in January, as Allied Leaders will be recommended to join a new CWLS intended for Allied Leaders, which will be advertised as we begin the next Phase to continue to build new alliances and plan for future activities.
Community Needs
We’re seeking members interested in content creation, writing for Azure-Net, or helping with recruitment across our guilds.
In FFXIV, we need Magitek Repair Materials and Grade 3 Shroud Soil (deposit to Company Chest tabs 4 or 5), as well as more Scouts and Event Hosts.
