
Released today is the visual for Eir Aoi's (藍井 エイル Aoi Eiru) upcoming song "Ryusei", which is set to be the opening song for Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online, the new anime adaptation of Keiichi Sigsawa's light novel.
You can see the new visual shown above where you can see her with blue lights in the background which is a reflection of the song's title which means "Meteors".

Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online is set to air on April 7th in Japan and available to Crunchyroll members sometime soon after.
Eir Aoi is a 29 year old singer from Sapporo, Hokkaido, signed to SME Records. She was discovered on Nico Nico and made her debut in 2011 with her single, "Memoria", which became the ending song for Fate/Zero.
Her music has been featured in several more anime including Kill La Kill, The Heroic Legend of Arslan, and Sword Art Online.
Her newest song "Ryusei" will be available first on iTunes on April 22nd, with a CD release as a double A-side on June 13th, including her other new song called Yakusoku.
Eir Aoi has been on a hiatus for some time since her performance at the Nippon Budokan where she held a 2 day concert in November 2016, and now her official website has announced her return, starting with a video for Yakusoku released in February.
