Spotted over on Gematsu; Gameblog.fr had a recent interview with Yakuza series producer Daisuke Sato and discussed series sequels and sequels to other intellectual properties like Binary Domain which was released in 2012.
Yakuza 6 released in Japan at the end of 2016, and worldwide in 2018 along with Yakuza Kiwami 2 released in the same year and are presently the latest main series installments of the Yakuza franchise.
Yakuza 6 ended an era of series plot content, so fans of the series are wondering where the series will go next and what/who it will focus on.
During the interview, Daisuke Sato suggested that the Yakuza franchise may not be an ideal series fit for the Nintendo Switch.
