It has been announced that the theme song for the upcoming third season of Shingeki no Kyojin aka Attack on Titan, will be performed by two enormous j-rock icons, Hyde, and X-Japan!
SNK/AoT has been known since Season 1 to have catchy opening themes.
Being a fan of both artists I am pretty excited to hear the new song!
The song will be titled "Red Swan" and is a collaboration between X-Japan's drummer Yoshiki and L'Arc~en~Ciel's lead vocalist Hyde, and is set for a worldwide release via a CD single released by Pony Canyon which will go on sale this Fall!
Season 3 will begin broadcasting on July 23rd, and I'm greatly anticipating it!
