Hail to the King: Today is Noctis' birthday!
Ah, Noctis from Final Fantasy XV! What a memorable and complex character. While he could be brooding and introverted at times, he also demonstrated tremendous growth and heroism over the course of his journey.
Some of my favorite Noctis moments include: His heartfelt campfire conversations with his loyal friends Gladiolus, Ignis, and Prompto. It was touching to see Noct open up and share his fears and dreams.
- Noctis ascends to take on the Astral god Titan in an epic battle of royal wills. The sheer scale and spectacle of that fight was jaw-dropping.
- His bittersweet reunion with Luna during the scenario in Altissia. The tragedy that followed left me heartbroken but demonstrated Noct's resolve.
- Watching Noct mature into the noble king he was always meant to be as he fulfilled his destiny in the final episodes. His final campfire scene especially brought the waterworks.
- Simply exploring the open world and delighting in Noct's quippy banter and camaraderie with his buds. Those fun road-trip vibes really endeared me to him.
Noctis embodied duty, sacrifice, and perseverance in the face of adversity. I'll never forget joining him on his poignant coming-of-age journey. Happy birthday to the King of Light!
