While the combat mechanics remain straightforward, the game's striking boss battles and captivating narrative progressions elevate the overall experience. The initial mission of the young protagonists transforms into a multi-layered narrative that consistently surprises players with unexpected twists, highlighting the importance of individual characters.

The storytelling unfolds skillfully, avoiding excessive exposition and immersing players into the game's universe. The level designs, reminiscent of Chrono Trigger, facilitate progression by balancing combat encounters and puzzles to provide a comprehensive challenge.
