Azure Infinitum Flies Forward Into Evercold!
With the announcement of FFXIV: Evercold and the road ahead now coming into view, the Council and I want to take a moment to speak clearly on what this means for us. Not just as a Free Company, but as a community with a legacy that has always stood the test of time.
First and foremost, our duty remains unchanged.
We will continue to lead Azure through all upcoming Patch 7.5 content with strength, structure, and purpose. Our events, progression, and community initiatives are not slowing down, they are being reinforced. From raids to casual gatherings, from learning parties to farms, everything we have built will continue to be supported and elevated as we close out Dawntrail and prepare for what lies ahead.
When the time comes, opportunities to host new events for new content, like the new raid difficulty, the Evangelion content, and more will be closely considered.
At the same time, preparations for FFXIV 8.0, Evercold, have already begun. As always, Azure does not wait. The Azure Council and I position, plan, and move with intent. This means continued refinement of our systems, our Leadership and Support structures, and our event framework so that when Evercold arrives, we are already ahead.
Our goal is simple: to enter the next expansion stronger, more unified, and more prepared than ever before.
All scheduled and upcoming Azure experiences will continue as planned. Aside from our weekly event schedule, this includes our Azure Day Weekends, PvP Tournaments, Holiday Azure Events, and all major community celebrations that define who we are.
These are not just events, they are traditions, and they will carry forward with the same energy, creativity, and scale you’ve come to expect from Azure Infinitum.
What was revealed this weekend marks the beginning of a new era, as expansion announcements typically do. We are genuinely excited for it. Not just for the content, but for the journey we will take together as a community. We’ve seen expansions come and go, but what makes each era unforgettable is us, the people who stand beneath the Azure banner.
The Council and I are proud to continue leading you into this next chapter. Through 7.5, into Evercold, and far beyond, we will remain steadfast in our purpose: to build, to lead, and to create something lasting.
