Sega unveiled surprising revivals of old game series in a fresh direction at The Game Awards.
Shuji Utsumi, the new CEO and COO of Sega America & Europe and a key mind behind Kingdom Hearts, played a significant role in shaping this new direction. Utsumi's extensive experience includes involvement in launching PlayStation in the West, Sega's Dreamcast, and contributing to the creation of Kingdom Hearts from the Disney side.
