For the first time in four years, Nintendo is returning to Gamescom, which takes place August 23rd to 27th in Cologne, Germany.
The event's organizers have confirmed Nintendo's return for Gamescom 2023.
This may imply that Nintendo plans to host a showcase with E3's show recently cancelled. Nintendo has preferred to stick to online streams of their Nintendo Direct reveals and online showcases for some years now, so it'll be neat to see what they do at the event.
Pikmin 4 and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will have been released by Gamescom 2023, which takes place in August. It's safe to say that there's a pretty good chance we'll get to see announcements of fresh new games. There's always hope for Nintendo to really surprise us, and announce either an upgrade to the Switch or a new console altogether.
